Stop at parking lot 1 and hike down the Flowerpot Scenic trail at Fownes head. At the bottom of this trail, you'll come to a spectacular vantage where you can see where the beloved Flowerpot Rock was. It was known as Flowerpot Rock because of the tuft of vegetation that grew from the top of the rock, also known as a sea stack. A storm in 2022 with high tides and heavy winds toppled over much of this rock formation but the view of the Bay is still amazing!

Park at the Melvin Beach lookout and take the multi-use trail. About 540 metres up the path, you'll come upon a bridge. This will take you to the Melvin Beach trail to your right. 

This spot is perfect for those looking for miles of unspoiled New Brunswick coastline. If you take a walk down the beach, you'll find streams nestled through the trees, and maybe even find your way to Lower Fuller Falls.
